New Cambridge CLA is now in stock!

New Cambridge CLA is now in stock!!!!

I am to happy announce our wonderful new product line! It’s called Cambridge CLA and I think it’s going to change your Cambridge experience!

CLA stands for Conjugated linoleic acids. There are many benefits with CLA to dieters and body builders and those with thyroid issues, diabetes, cholesterol problems, as well as other weight related health conditions:

* Increases metabolic rate — This would obviously be a positive benefit for dieters and thyroid patients, as hypothyroidism — even when treated — can reduce the metabolic rate in some people.
* Decreases abdominal fat — Adrenal imbalances and hormonal shifts that are common in the obese frequently cause rapid accumulation of abdominal fat, so this benefit could be quite helpful. Overall body fat loss is up to 10% WITHOUT dieting and it prevents fat regain.
* Enhances muscle growth — Muscle burns fat, which also contributes to increased metabolism, which is useful in weight loss and management. Studies showed that once patients went off their weight loss program any weight regained was in muscle tissue, not fat as was in the group without CLA.
* Lowers cholesterol and triglycerides –
* Lowers insulin resistance — Insulin resistance is a risk for overweight people and especially for women dealing with PCOS, and lowering it can also help prevent adult-onset diabetes and make it easier to control weight.
* Reduces food-induced allergic reactions — Since food allergies can be at play when weight loss becomes difficult, this can be of help to dieters.
* Enhances immune system — Since many health issues are autoimmune in nature, enhancing the immune system’s ability to function properly is a positive benefit.

Out new product will come in Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry. I’ve tasted the chocolate and it was yummy!

CLA has been clinically proven effective. It’s naturally sourced from safflower oil. It is safely effective with no stimulants.

So now you can all see why I am so excited! It is available now. Click on the ordering link and order yours today!

The finish line

It’s been a long time comming, but this week I am going to finally complete my very long journey of weight loss and getting healthy. I am going in to have the excess skin removed that losing alomst 160 pounds can leave you with. I wanted to do it 8 years ago, but backed out at the last minute. I was concerned about the cost and taking such a big risk when I still had young children dependent on me. I ended up canceling the day before, and I have regreted every day since.

Now that the kids are grown, I have lost even more then I had 8 years ago, and I am healthy and very fit I made the decision to just go for it. It’s going to be 7 hours of a lot of surgery, complete body lift as well as arm lifts, but once I heal and can get back to my regular active life I know I will be glad I did it. I have a great surgeon and I am in great shape to have the best possible results.

I have a lot of anxiety about the cost. I have no idea how I will pay for it, especially since my main source of income has been pretty much cut in half, but this is one time I am just going to leap without looking. I am by nature a very careful person and never gamble, but I know I won’t get another chance to do this and it is time. I’ll take my lumps come what may.

So if Wednesday morning, around 7am, you find yourself remembering me, please say a prayer if you pray, send good vibes if you feel them, or just wish me luck. I’m probably going to be hating life for a little while so I won’t be on the board for a week or so, but as soon as I’m able I will be sure to give a report on the experience and then the much waited for final “after” pics will soon follow!

Plan to succeed

People are waking up today knowing that the party is over. It is time to pay the piper as they say. Celebrating is finished and there are no more excuses to procrastinate. It is the first day of a new year and motivation is running high. Gyms will be overflowing with new memberships. Diet centers will be flooded with people wanting to commit to something to keep them accountable to a weight loss plan. This week is the biggest for diet pill sales and gastric surgeons will be holding “sales” meetings in hospitals and hotels all over the country. All the world woke up today saying “today is the day I begin my diet”.

Fast forward to Feb 1st. It has been one month. Most people will have already abandoned their resolutions and be right back to their old habits and lifestyle. Why does this happen year after year? Why is it that only a small percentage actually keep their resolutions and make progress? There is an old saying that if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. I think that this is the perfect time to make a plan to succeed.

I am a big believer that writing things down somehow gives them power to become reality. I am a list maker. I have found that over the years the goals I write down are the ones I achieve. I can’t explain it, but it has happened too may times for me to argue it. If some of you have gone the diet route over and over only to find yourself falling off track along the way you may want to do something different this time. Start making lists!

I have one right now that I am doing for my health goals. I have had a life time problem with blood pressure and diabetes since I was a teenager. My goal this year is to bring them both to normal ranges without any medication. I have kept them under control for the most part since my weight loss 8 years ago, but this past year everything zoomed up again, probably because I am getting older and I gained some weight due to my double knee replacement surgery situation. I have a spiral notebook in my room. I have drawn 3 lines down it making a column for weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar. I have 4 months worth already prepared and dated with my projected goals written in the margin for each week. Just seeing where I want to be in 4 months has already changed my sense of being able to achieve it. It makes me feel like I am on a course that has direction, kind of like a personal GPS for the body! I know I have to do the work to make those goals, but it gives me something to aim for and that motivates me more then leaving it up to chance.

Some of you may find it hard to get started on Cambridge. It can be tough those first few days. Having something in writing that you can go and look at can keep you focused on your goal and not on what is in the refrigerator. In fact, put it ON the refrigerator! You may want to make a time line for the first few days. Begin it at the time you wake up and right on to bedtime. Check off the hours that you remain on your plan and note any deviations if any on the way. When you feel tempted go and study your time line. See all the hours that have passed. You won’t want to just throw them away and waste all that effort. Make a weight graph and see the line going down. Even if you have a day when it may go up, you will still see the overall downward trend and it will inspire you. Keep a journal about your emotions. You will see yourself evolve over time as you continue on your weight loss journey. Being able to see yourself changing in body and mind is an awesome experience! Don’t forget to take those pictures along the way too!!

None of these things require a great deal of time of effort, but they can be the difference between waking up on Feb 1st 30 pounds lighter and a whole lot healthier, or exactly the same as you are today…or maybe worse. Make your plan to succeed. Don’t fail to plan and then be left sitting there wondering what happened. All of us have what it takes to achieve our goals. No one has an advantage over another due to circumstances. Just look at Oprah! She is intelligent and capable and has every tool for weight loss at her fingertips, and yet it still eludes her. The cover on her January issue of “O” magazine says “How did I let this happen to me again?” She may be one of the richest people in the world, but she is right down there in the muck with the rest of us where weight is concerned.

Our motto this year is “2009! It your time to shine!” I really believe that in spite of the uncertainty we are living in right now regarding the war and the the economy and even a new President, we still have power to improve our health and that will have an effect in every aspect of our lives. This is a time to take responsibility for ourselves and make sure that we are prepared for whatever is coming. I have always said that we learn far more about ourselves in times of trial then in times of ease. Strengthen yourself in body and mind and put your life in order. You will discover your potential and it will amaze you what you are capable of achieving!

2009…Your Time To Shine!

It is another new year. Hard to believe! Time is going by so quickly. This year I will be turning 50. That is even harder to believe! I can’t help but think about how different my life would be right now had I not found Cambridge again. If I hadn’t and I had remained on the path I was on, I don’t know if I would even still be here. I was over 320+ pounds, diabetic, disabled with arthritis and chronic pain, had heart disease including high BP, and life was hardly worth living. My list of health problems grew every month. It was not looking too promising that I would live to see 45 much less 50!

Thankfully I DID find Cambridge again and I was able to not only lose the weight, but recover my health to the point that the past 8 years have been amazing…more then I could have ever imagined. Because of my Cambridge business I was also able to build a financial future for my family that included buying our first home in California and then our beautiful home here in Utah with the lovely Provo river right behind it as well as vacations and other luxuries that we used to only dream about. Those things were for other people, not for us, at least that is what I had always believed. I was an obese disabled single mom on public assistance just trying to survive with what little I brought in watching a few kids every day. When you are that far down you can’t see up. Never would I have ever believed what life had in store for me and my little family.

With the new year just beginning I know that some of you are feeling like I once did. Hopelessness is a heavy burden that adds to the weight of obesity and poor health. Feeling like you have no control or power over your eating effects every aspect of your life, not just your weight. It is hard to feel good about yourself when you see yourself as weak or incapable of managing something as basic as what you eat each day or the other choices you make regarding your lifestyle. It effects your family and other relationships, the choices you make regarding your work or leisure time, it even effects the most basic things like what you wear and whether you will even leave the house. What a tragic waste of your time here.

We all only get one pass at this life and the questions you need to ask yourself are these…are you content with the choices your are making? Are you happy with the level of your health? Are your personal relationships as satisfying as you would like them to be? Are you pursuing your goals and ambitions without reserve or making excuses for why you are not? Is weight playing a part in any of these things not being what you would ideally want them to be? If the answer is yes then how much more of your life are you willing to sacrifice to food and unhealthy living?

Losing weight can seem like the impossible dream. We all start and stop diets like they were traffic lights. Monday comes, (or a birthday or a new year or a reunion or wedding or…well…you get the idea!) and we have the best of intentions. We start off great but then as the day wears on temptations get the best of us and we eventually toss in the towel as we toss in the potato chips. All the self depreciating head talk begins and we convince ourselves that we are somehow flawed. By the end of the day we have talked ourselves in to believing that we are unworthy of being thin or healthy or even in some cases…loved. We resolve to begin again tomorrow…or maybe next Monday. You can all relate, I know.

With everything going on in the world right now that we have no control over the one thing we can control is our own personal choice. For most people finances are strained and you may hesitate to spend any money on something for yourself like Cambridge. With that in mind I would like to give my top ten reasons for beginning or continuing on with your Cambridge Diet and health program. Here goes!

1. Fewer doctor bills.

2. Less trips to the grocery store and unnecessary spending.

3. Skinny clothes are less expensive with better selections.

4. Joining a gym is cheaper then health insurance.

5. Taking a hike, playing basketball, tennis or other physical activities are free.

6. Being able to ride a bike saves gas and car expense, not to mention our environment.

7. You can save all that money that used to go to expensive calorie loaded coffees and buy Cambridge instead.

8. You can finally wear all those clothes in the back of your closet that have been there since the 80’s. Hey! Some of that stuff is back in style!

9. No more hiding fast food bags and the receipts in the car so no one knows how much money you spend on junk food runs

10. Cambridge is cheaper then food!

Considering all of these reasons and the many more not listed how can you find any excuse not to do it? This opportunity only comes around once every 365 days. You can all wake up Jan 1st 2009 and walk in to your new way of living. A healthy and rewarding and successful life that may now seem like the impossible dream, but believe me when I say that it IS possible! 8 years ago I could not have been in a darker place. When I think about those years my heart aches for all that I missed out on while I indulged my eating and lifestyle excesses all the while convincing myself that this was something that had happened TO me, not BECAUSE of me. It was a lie I believed in for most of my life. Whatever you are telling yourself to justify your weight problem is probably a lie too, plain and simple. It is hard to feel good if you are not being honest with yourself and the people closest to you. There is no better time to face your personal truth and move on to the life your were meant to have. It is like walking out in to the sun after a long dark winter. 2009 is YOUR time to shine!

You must be a retail customer and you have to order at least 3 cans.

This time of year can be challenging for those who are dieting. Temptation is all around. It begins with Halloween and goes right on through Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and even Easter! Most people gain several pounds this time of year and find themselves discouraged and overwhelmed with the burden of having to lose the extra weight, especially if they already had some to lose. Many find themselves going from one year to the next losing the same weight over and over again.

You can break this cycle and go on to a new healthier life for 2009! It takes a desire and a determination for change, but each and every one of us is capable of succeeding. Cambridge is the perfect tool to help you achieve this goal. No other weight loss plan can offer you what Cambridge can… a perfectly balanced low calorie complete meal replacement that comes in many delicious flavors and products. There is something for everyone!

Right now we are all dealing with a difficult economy. Prices on food have skyrocketed and most of us are having to make careful choices when in the grocery store. It is a sad fact that the cheapest foods are usually the most unhealthy overly processed junk foods that have little to no nutritional value other then calories. To make it even worse we put that stuff in the microwave insuring that any remaining nutrition is completely nuked right out of it. Fresh wholesome whole foods are pricey in most areas. The man made Frankenstein foods are just easy and cheap. To make matters worse, it is a fact that the consumption of things like ice cream and other sugary fatty foods goes up when people are facing financial stress. Cambridge is a perfect choice for those who are financially strapped. It costs as little as $1.30 per meal! It is also a wonderful nutritional supplement for the whole family, especially the children.

Be sure to take advantage of this great offer! Order any 3 cans of your choice and receive an additional 4th can for FREE! Go to www.cambridgediet.org and place your order today.

Happy New You

No, that was not a typo! This IS a new year and in this new year each one of you has the chance to uncover the new you, the REAL you. I have one friend right now that is on the diet. She has been obese her entire life. In a way, she has never seen her real face. Imagine that? As the weight drops she is so excited to see her features emerging. It is like unveiling a sculpture a bit at a time. Now that the holiday mania is behind us we can all get back to the business of getting healthy. No more roadblocks ahead other then the usual. A new year helps us to focus and have a time line to structure our efforts. It gives fuel to the commitment to lose weight. Yes…the whole world is beginning their diets today…and many of them will fail, but they don’t have what we have! While they are struggling to lose 3 or 4 pounds a month, month after month, we can see real progress as each day passes. Given a choice, would you rather lose 4 pounds this month or 20? Maybe even more? That alone will keep you motivated to stay on track.

I wish you all a wonderful 2008. Make this a year that you get your priorities in order. Your health comes first, then your family, then your financial health, and then your friends. Don’t allow those to get out of sync.

Let’s all raise a glass (of Cambridge!) to the NEW YEAR and a NEW YOU!!
