Cambridge News. Updates on the Shopping cart

The Cambridge Diet USA Shopping Cart is once again operational!

I am happy to say that our Cambridge shopping cart is once again working after a company website upgrade. I appreciate your patience during this time. It took a little longer then expected and there are still a few issues that they are taking care of but you can now place your orders once again from my website at www.cambridgediet.org. Or by clicking here

I am also in the process of adding some new pictures to the “Before and After” Picture page so keep checking back for those! They will inspire you!

We had some Cambridge flavors on back order these past few weeks too and they are now coming in to the warehouse and ready to order. The only flavors still on their way are FFL Strawberry and the FFL Vanilla packets. They are expected soon. So many people are discovering the amazing results that Cambridge can give them that we have to catch up to the demand!

The company is working on developing some new flavors so be watching for those. We are looking in to a Rich Chocolate Shake in the 330 line similar to the Rich Vanilla that everyone loves so much. They are also still improving the bars. The first batch from our new manufacturer were not quite up to our standards so we have worked with them in improving the taste and texture. They are more moist and more delicious so you might want to give them another try. We now have a variety box available too with 3 of each of the 4 bar flavors.

Summer is almost here! The time to hide under those bulky winter clothes is coming to an end and you know what that means. You still have time to make a lot of progress in your weight loss. Don’t suffer through another summer wishing you could wear all those warm weather fashions. If you get busy right now you can easily have 60 to 90 pounds off by the end of June! Imagine that! Now don’t stop at just imagining it. Make it happen!

Happy New You!

The New Year is really zooming by! That is good news for those who are sticking to their diets…bad news for those who are procrastinating.

Some of you that had good intentions for the New Year may now be feeling like you have failed or been less then stellar in your efforts. We tend to expect or even depend on something like a New Year to motivate us in to action. It works for some, but as we all know the rate of broken New Years Resolutions is a lot higher then the rate of successes. It can temporarily focus your attention on your goals, but unless you are willing to back them up with determination and hard work it is just good intentions and nothing more. It ends up being one more reason for you to feel powerless to help yourself.

If your New Years commitment has faded and you are now floundering around trying to find something else to motivate you, I would encourage you to do some research on the effects of obesity. Cold hard facts can be the best motivator of all and you don’t want to wait until you are hearing them from your doctor…when it may be too late to do anything about them. I often have people tell me that even though they are over weight or obese, that they are not yet suffering any health problems because of it. They almost sound like it some how justifies the fact that they have found themselves in this situation or that it is a good excuse for not having done anything about it so far…like they were blessed with extra time to abuse their bodies. The fact is that most chronic and even fatal diseases can have their root in obesity. No one escapes that fact. It is just a matter of time. Keep in mind that even if you are not yet experiencing symptoms of Diabetes or Heart Disease, the foundation is being built.

Have you ever passed by an area that you frequent, only to be surprised by what seems to be the over night appearance of a new building? “Where did that come from” you probably say to yourself. You hadn’t noticed any construction. While you were not paying attention, the foundation was laid and the framing was done. Every day a little progress was made and you just didn’t notice until the finishing touches were complete, but the work was slowly advancing while you were not paying attention. Obesity related diseases are a lot like that. 6 months ago you may have been given a clean bill of health pacifying you in to believing that you have more time to get serious about your weight, but don’t kid yourself! Just like that building, your foundation is being laid and soon the results of your actions will be obvious when the doctor informs you that you are now showing symptoms of disease.

If you got off to a disappointing start with your diet this year, don’t use it as an excuse to quit. Old habits are hard to break, but so are new ones! Start building the foundation of good health. As each day passes and you become stronger in your resolution to lose the weight and make better choices, your old habits will fade away making way for the new. Before you know it you will be putting the “finishing touches” on the new you and looking forward to your future with excitement and hope rather then regret and despair. We all have within us the power to change our lives. It doesn’t require something like a New Year or an upcoming event. You can decide right now, in this very second to change whatever you want. I don’t care if you are reading this from your office with an empty bag of cookies beside you and 10 pounds gained since Christmas. You can begin your diet right now and not look back. The New Year may not be beginning today, but the New You just began!
